Helen Alderson has more than 30 years’ experience in the humanitarian and public health sectors.

The vast part of her career has been with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) where she held leadership positions in Geneva, London, Tel Aviv, Kuwait, Bangkok and Manila. Her areas of work include humanitarian diplomacy, financing, protection, partnerships.

She has also served as CEO of the World Heart Federation and as senior ESG analyst for the Ethos Investment Foundation for Sustainable Development.

Helen currently serves on the Board of the Humanitarian Finance Forum and the Advisory Board of the University of Geneva’s Executive Programme in Strategic Philanthropy. She is based in Geneva, Switzerland.
